Comedian Broda Shaggi seals brand ambassador deal with FairMoney

Image
XTRATAINIC A few years ago when Animashaun Samuel Perry, otherwise known as Broda Shaggi in the showbiz industry, conceived his own brand of comedy, many didn’t give him a chance. But determined to make the best out of his talent, the Instagram sensation kept dishing out skits after skits with social media as hi launch pad. It didn’t take long before Broda Shaggi began to attract the attention of events organisers, as a result of his massive presence online. Today, his effort has paid off; Broda Shaggi has become a household name in the industry, with endorsement deals to show for it. Just this week, FairMoney, a mobile bank for emerging markets, signed the comedian and actor as a brand its ambassador. Man City Champions League ban: CAS clear Pep Guardiola's club from suspension

Image
XTRATAINIC Manchester City have been cleared to play in the Champions league next season  after the Court of Arbitration for Sport overturned their two-year ban from European competitions. On a day that will have far-reaching consequences for European football, governing body UEFA  suffered a historic defeat which could irreparably damage their flagship Financial Fair Play regulations. City will still pay a €10m (£11.4m) fine – down from an initial €30m – for failing to co-operate with Uefa’s investigation, but crucially CAS judged that City “did not disguise equity funding as sponsorship contributions” and that the alleged breaches of FFP rules were “either not established or time-barred”. City denied any wrongdoing throughout the process and insisted that they would be vindicated by CAS. In a statement, the club said: “Whilst Manchester City and its legal advisors are yet to review the full ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the club welcomes th...

Image
XTRATAINIC . . Manchester United see Saul Niguez as the ideal partner for Bruno Fernandes in the middle of the park. Manchester United  could be able to sign Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid for way cheaper than his £135million buyout clause, reports say. The Spain international is a top target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer having dazzled in La Liga in recent years. And Atletico’s financial situation could see United land their man for a lot less than he’s actually worth. The La Liga season, like the Premier League campaign, is currently up in the air. The Spanish FA have made it clear that, if the season is to finish early, the top four teams in Spain would qualify for next term’s Champions League. As things stand, that doesn’t include Atletico. Diego Simeone’s side have endured a difficult season in the Spanish top flight and currently sit sixth in the table, behind the likes of Getafe, Real Sociedad, Sevilla, Real Madrid and Barcelona. It was reported last month...
