XTRATAINIC . . The Lagos State Government has confirmed two new cases of Coronavirus in the state. Prof. Akin Abayomi, Commissioner of Health in the state made the confirmation via his Twitter handle, on Monday. Abayomi disclosed that the two new cases now bring the total number of those infected in the state to 179. He also affirmed that five patients who have fully recovered have been discharged. Abayomi said: “Lagos confirmed 2 new cases of COVID19 infection on 12th of April. ”Total COVID-19 Lagos confirmed cases are now 179. ”Five COVID-19 patients discharged following full recovery. ”The Total number of discharged #COVID19 patients are now 55. ”For a greater Lagos.” XTRATAINIC NEWS REPORT

Arsenal, Man United keeping tabs on 25-year-old French midfielder – report

XTRATAINIC... Arsenal and Manchester United are two of the clubs chasing Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso, according to a report in France. French media outlet  Foot Mercato , as quoted by the Daily Mail  is reporting that Arsenal and Manchester United are hoping to rescue Tolisso from Bayern after the 25-year-old fell out of favour at the Allianz Arena this term. The same article states that the France international is ready to kick-start his career at another club after growing frustrated at a lack of first-team opportunities under Bayern boss Hansi Flick. According to the same story, the Premier League duo will face a difficult battle to sign Tolisso because Serie A giants Juventus and Napoli, as well as Spanish side Atletico Madrid, are interested. Man City Champions League ban: CAS clear Pep Guardiola's club from suspension

XTRATAINIC Manchester City have been cleared to play in the Champions league next season  after the Court of Arbitration for Sport overturned their two-year ban from European competitions. On a day that will have far-reaching consequences for European football, governing body UEFA  suffered a historic defeat which could irreparably damage their flagship Financial Fair Play regulations. City will still pay a €10m (£11.4m) fine – down from an initial €30m – for failing to co-operate with Uefa’s investigation, but crucially CAS judged that City “did not disguise equity funding as sponsorship contributions” and that the alleged breaches of FFP rules were “either not established or time-barred”. City denied any wrongdoing throughout the process and insisted that they would be vindicated by CAS.
